They are also responsible for supporting the children's development by recognizing individual differences and by helping them to live, learn and work cooperatively in a carefully designed, classroom environment.
Within the Visual Arts Classroom, efforts to teach skills and to help grow an appreciation of each individual's creative and art-making abilities are paramount.
The successful candidate will be keen on exhibiting the appropriate knowledge base for upholding the Visual Arts Classroom as a working model through which its ever-expansive environment can be positively integrated with the Montessori curriculum and its educational goals.

Qualifications:
Hold a Bachelor's degree, in fine arts or related field preferred Previous teaching experience, Montessori preferred Have previous visual arts education experience MOMI is an independent, non-profit school located on a beautiful 9-acre campus in upcountry Maui, Hawaii.
