Project Superintendent

Commercial / Industrial Project Superintendent is responsible for DOD project including the management of the field operations for a 3M to 5M renovation project.

Basic Duties
Establish and maintain a high level of safety culture on the job site
Understand DOD construction documents and procedures, insuring the highest Quality and Safety while supervising all onsite work.
In coordination with project manager develop and maintain the project schedule and manage the budget
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with all interested parties to include Government Owner Representives, Design Architects/Engineers, Third Party Inspectors and Subcontractors alike
Represent the contractor in a professional manor at all required meetings and throughout the term of the project.
Required Skills and Training
Have current certificates for OSHA 30, EM-385-1-1 and Quality Control Management Certification is required
Knowledge of all phases of building construction,
Ability to understand DOD contract documents and read plans and specifications
Ability to manage several subcontractors
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Proficient with MS Office
Experience with QCS is preferred

Required Experience
5 Years past experience in a supervision position on DOD projects is preferred
Has supervised interior renovations including security systems, electrical, fire alarm, fire protection, HVAC and other supporting architectural trades

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
